Senior Growth Manager
Job description
Senior Growth Manager at Al Media.
About the role
This position is a core growth engine inside the performance marketing business at Almedia, where you will own the commercial outcomes for a portfolio of key advertiser accounts. You are responsible for driving top-line revenue growth while directly managing the ROAS performance of offers through intensive bid and test strategies. The role places you at the intersection of data science and commercial execution, translating complex platform signals into clear actions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, making rapid decisions that impact millions of user interactions across global markets. This is a hands-on role where your ability to combine strategic ownership with operational rigor will define your success and accelerate your career within the company.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Own a book of 5-15 advertiser accounts end-to-end, acting as the primary growth owner that advertisers contact when issues arise and the executive leadership consults when anomalies occur.
- Drive top-line revenue expansion by identifying and monetizing new opportunities within your portfolio, ensuring that growth is sustainable and aligned with platform constraints.
- Manage and optimize the internal ROAS dial on a frequent, often hourly basis, adjusting bids based on cap-fill outcomes, retention targets, and geo-specific performance fluctuations.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools such as Hex or comparable SQL-notebook environments, Amplitude, Looker Studio, and Almedia's internal Freecash AI to generate insights that directly influence campaign behavior.
- Act as the critical bridge between commercial expectations and technical implementation, debugging data discrepancies with partners and coordinating solutions with engineering teams.
- Proactively monitor account health, predicting issues before they escalate and initiating budget increases, geo-expansions, and format tests on a structured cadence.
- Document and iterate on playbooks every week, ensuring that process improvements are codified and shared across the Growth team to maintain scalability.
- Translate complex performance data into concise narratives that resonate with both technical teams and C-level stakeholders, enabling fast, informed decision-making.
- Take ownership of your career trajectory by pushing harder and accelerating your growth within a high-velocity environment that rewards intensity and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with ambitious, high-ownership colleagues in a fully in-office environment, fostering a culture of accountability and collective momentum.
Requirements
- You are hungry and looking for a challenge, thriving in an environment where responsibility is given early and outcomes are measured strictly by results.
- You tell stories with data, demonstrating an ability to read numbers rapidly and explain their implications in simple terms that non-technical audiences can understand.
- You are bilingual in the best sense, comfortable engaging commercially with advertisers while simultaneously discussing technical details with algorithm teams in the same day.
- You have a strong grasp of platform-marketing metrics including ROAS, LTV, retention, and ARPU, using these to guide strategic adjustments.
- You have managed a book of advertiser or partner accounts in performance marketing, mobile gaming user acquisition, or rewarded user acquisition environments.
- You possess hands-on experience with MMPs such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Singular, allowing you to navigate attribution disputes and explain view-through mechanisms.
- You have a track record of building and scaling a measurable book of business, for example growing a €2M per year account portfolio to €8M in eighteen months.
- You come from a top-tier consulting background, such as MBB, or a scale-up Senior Associate role, bringing a structured approach to problem-solving and execution.
Nice to have
- Experience working directly within the admin console of a rewarded user acquisition platform or having served on the advertiser side of such ecosystems.
- Existing knowledge of how Almedia's Freecash AI and internal dashboards operate to quickly diagnose and resolve performance issues.
- A proven history of documenting and disseminating playbooks that improve team-wide efficiency and consistency.
