About the role

Al Media is searching for a Junior Engineer (AI) to become a vital part of their data team. This position centers on creating automated data workflows and establishing self-service access for business users across the organization. The primary objective is to fix existing automated processes, construct autonomous agents, and significantly cut down on one-off data requests that burden the team. You will help streamline how the company handles information by taking over repetitive manual tasks and ensuring data flows efficiently from source to destination. The work directly supports the mission of rewarding a community of over 70 million users for engaging with advertiser products. You will contribute to offering a new way to acquire users for the biggest companies in the world.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Fix and update current data automation pipelines to ensure they run smoothly every single day without interruption
• Construct autonomous agents that manage recurring data operations from start to finish reliably and accurately
• Integrate information from various fragmented systems to create a unified and highly accurate data view for analysis
• Partner with business teams to identify where manual data processing creates significant bottlenecks and slows down progress
• Design self-service tools that allow non-technical staff to retrieve their own required data without waiting for help
• Reduce the volume of custom data requests arriving at the central data team by automating routine queries
• Monitor automated workflows and resolve any errors or failures that occur during execution as quickly as possible
• Document data processes and agent behaviors so the broader team can easily understand how the systems work
• Test new AI-driven solutions to replace time-consuming manual analytical tasks across different departments within the company
• Coordinate with advertisers to understand how user engagement data flows through the platform and affects outcomes
• Build internal dashboards that visualize the performance of automated data flows and highlight areas for improvement
• Collaborate with the community of over 70 million users to ensure data interactions remain relevant and valuable

Requirements

• Must possess hands-on experience building with AI agents or large language model tools in a practical setting
• Demonstrate solid coding fundamentals across multiple programming languages and established software development best practices consistently
• Show a business mindset by understanding how technical work connects to broader company needs and goals
• Maintain a strong learning mindset, particularly regarding artificial intelligence tools, emerging trends, and new methodologies
• Apply genuine curiosity to explore new technologies and continuously find better ways to solve complex problems
• Have the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes that stakeholders can understand
• Work effectively with fragmented data sources and understand the critical value of structured, organized information
• Take full ownership of debugging and maintaining automated systems without needing constant supervision or guidance
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues to ensure everyone understands the data solutions
• Adopt an AI-native approach by using AI tools daily and thinking in terms of what agents can take off your plate

Nice to have

• Have prior experience using Python or Node.js in a production environment or meaningful personal project setting
• Know how to use automation or orchestration platforms like n8n to streamline repetitive data tasks efficiently
• Possess exposure to SQL or general experience working with structured query data to extract meaningful insights
• Understand the basics of marketing technology and how engaging with advertiser products drives user acquisition
