AI Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Almedia is scaling rapidly as one of the fastest-growing companies in Europe, focused on building a unique marketing ecosystem for 70 million users. The role centers on owning the end-to-end delivery of internal tools that power our marketing operations and product teams. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining full stack applications that span the user interface through data pipelines and business logic. A core part of this position is integrating advanced AI capabilities directly into our software stack to unlock new levels of business efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate ambiguous problems into technical solutions that can be rapidly deployed. This position demands comfort with ambiguity and the ability to iterate quickly while maintaining a high standard of code quality. You will have a direct impact on how our teams operate on a daily basis by shaping the tools they use most.

What you'll do

• Architect and maintain robust back-end services using Python or Node.js to handle high-volume marketing workflows.
• Develop responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces that enable marketing and operations teams to interact with complex data sets.
• Integrate and orchestrate multiple AI APIs to build reliable, production-grade services that enhance marketing workflows.
• Design and implement AI-driven features by leveraging advanced prompting strategies and modern large language model development tools.
• Transform messy, fragmented data from disparate sources into clean, structured pipelines that feed into analytical and operational systems.
• Partner closely with marketing, user acquisition, and operations teams to map out workflow bottlenecks and engineer precise technical solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and scalable code that adheres to industry best practices and supports long-term maintainability.
• Optimize application performance across the stack to ensure fast response times and a seamless user experience.
• Document system architecture and technical processes to ensure knowledge sharing and ease of onboarding for future team members.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies and tools to keep our stack competitive and efficient in a rapidly evolving market.
• Collaborate in an agile environment, participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive team excellence.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement monitoring solutions to detect and resolve problems before they impact users.
• Contribute to the definition of technical requirements and specifications for new products and features.
• Act as a technical lead for specific projects, guiding junior engineers and ensuring successful delivery against business goals.

Requirements

• You have proven production experience building applications with either Node.js or Python in a professional environment.
• You have a demonstrated history of successfully integrating third-party AI APIs into software systems that are used in production.
• You possess a strong grasp of fundamental engineering concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• You are proficient in modern full stack development practices, including version control, testing, and continuous integration.
• You can explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical business stakeholders.
• You bring a proactive mindset to your work, consistently seeking opportunities for learning and applying new technical knowledge.
• You have the ability to analyze ambiguous requirements and translate them into concrete technical tasks.
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly based on business needs.

Nice to have

• You have hands-on proficiency with TypeScript and understand its benefits for building scalable front-end applications.
• You have practical knowledge of n8n or similar automation and orchestration platforms used to manage workflows.
• You have a solid understanding of agentic workflows and system-level AI design principles.
• You have previous experience collaborating directly with marketing or operations departments to drive technical projects.
