About the role
You own the end to end compliance and operational integrity of the Allegiant station in Stockton California on a daily basis. You translate regulatory agency policies and Allegiant standards into actionable procedures for every team member. You own the audit process and correct any deviations before they impact safety or service. You own the relationship with all external airport partners and internal departments to ensure smooth station function. You own the financial discipline of the station by controlling expenses and managing the budget. You own the development and supervision of all security and ground operations staff. You own the resolution of complex customer and employee issues. You own the training and certification pipeline to ensure all roles are covered by qualified personnel.

What you'll do
- Establish and sustain safety compliance for aircraft, customers, facilities, and employee working environments while initiating corrective actions to meet company objectives.
- Ensure strict compliance with all Federal directives and security requirements through systematic audits to guarantee quality assurance at the station.
- Manage and control station expenses and costs while maintaining an effective cost control program, analyzing variances to budget and implementing corrective action plans.
- Establish airport and local community relations by acting as the primary liaison with airport officials, FAA, TSA, police, and fire departments.
- Coordinate all airline vendor functions and serve as the liaison for local contracts that provide fueling, skycap, security, catering, cleaning, and ground handling services to Allegiant.
- Manage vendor performance metrics and implement appropriate measures to review and improve services provided to Allegiant at the Stockton station.
- Ensure strict compliance to all station manuals while monitoring for current revisions and verifying their availability to the team.
- Lead the station team to ensure compliance with all customer service, baggage handling, and departure procedures while analyzing performance and verifying quality control.
- Establish efficient and cost effective work schedules for all station employees and participate in interview, hiring, and staffing requirement decisions.
- Develop succession and growth plans for supervisors and front line employees to build internal capability and prepare for future needs.
- Coordinate, provide, and ensure the completion of all required training for employees including new hire, recurrent, supplemental, and local training initiatives.
- Provide feedback, research, and respond to customer complaints and compliments in coordination with the Customer Relations department.
- Establish employee recognition programs for station achievements in safety, performance, and revenue collection to drive motivation and accountability.
- Perform all functions of a Cross-Utilized Station Agent to maintain operational flexibility and coverage across all station roles.
- Operate heavy, motorized machinery and equipment including tugs, tractors, belt loaders, bag carts, pushback tractors, deicers, and other related machinery.
- Evaluate, manage, and provide ongoing feedback to employees while developing individuals and encouraging career advancement within the station.
- Conduct timely and thorough investigations associated with aircraft damage, security events, and employee injuries, then present findings to an interdepartmental audience.
- Lead by example and motivate teams to achieve results by exemplifying integrity, professionalism, and excellent communication skills in every action.
- Ensure any direct reports understand and apply the Customer Commitment and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities as appropriate to their role.
- Model Allegiant's customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction to all station staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the strategic and operational goals of the Allegiant station.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986 and provide proof of eligibility.
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check prior to employment and maintain compliance thereafter.
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED as a minimum education requirement for the role.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Education or a relevant field is preferred for this position.
- Must obtain and maintain Certification as a Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) within one year of hire date.
- Must obtain and maintain Certification as a Complaint Resolution Officer (CRO) within one year of hire date.
- Must obtain and maintain Certification as a Stations Trainer within one year of hire date.
- Must have a minimum of two years of experience in the airline industry to be considered for this role.
- One year of prior supervisory experience is required for this position.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply for this position.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.

- Ability to interact professionally with Allegiant employees, customers, service providers, vendors, regulatory agencies, and airport personnel.
- Well-developed planning and organizational skills are required to manage the complexity of the station operations.
- Must be able to establish clear goals and objectives for the station team and performance metrics.
- Analyze performance data against critical measures and implement solutions to achieve performance objectives consistently.
- Must be able to successfully manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
- Must be committed to the importance of serving the customer and maintaining an excellent customer service focus at all times.
- Able to attend required training sessions promptly and complete all training requirements satisfactorily.
- Must have basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience with airline computer systems is preferred for this role.
- Ability to supervise Customer Service, Ground Operations, Aircraft Cabin Cleaning, Commissary Security, and Aircraft Security Agents based upon the location and operational needs.
Practical notes
This role requires attendance at mandatory training sessions as scheduled by Allegiant. The position may require the operation of heavy equipment which demands physical capability and strict adherence to safety protocols. Travel is not expected as part of this role. The incumbent must maintain eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
