About the role
The Manager, Loyalty is accountable for owning the end-to-end strategy, execution, and optimization of Allegiant's Allways Rewards loyalty program from concept to launch. This role owns the stewardship of the program roadmap, ensuring that every initiative directly enhances the member experience and drives measurable engagement and revenue. You will act as the central command for cross-functional collaboration, translating complex business problems into cohesive loyalty solutions. The hire will lead key strategic projects, manage critical relationships, and provide data-driven recommendations to executive stakeholders. This position requires a proactive leader who thrives on building best-in-class programs and solving intricate business challenges. You will be the primary guardian of the member journey, ensuring that every interaction reinforces Allegiant's brand promise and long-term vision for the loyalty portfolio.

What you'll do
- Drive the end-to-end management and performance optimization of the Allways Rewards loyalty program, defining strategy and owning operational execution.
- Execute strategic initiatives focused on improving member acquisition, engagement, retention, and overall profitability through data-informed decisions.
- Partner deeply with Product, Digital, Technology, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Finance to design, develop, and deliver seamless loyalty enhancements.
- Translate business requirements into technical and marketing specifications, supporting the successful implementation of new loyalty capabilities and member benefits.
- Monitor comprehensive program performance using customer and financial analytics to identify high-impact opportunities for optimization and sustainable growth.
- Spearhead the development and launch of strategic loyalty partnerships that create additional member value and generate incremental revenue streams.
- Act as the primary relationship manager for external vendors, consultants, and loyalty partners, ensuring alignment with program goals.
- Prepare detailed business cases, performance dashboards, and executive-level presentations to communicate program value and strategic direction.
- Champion operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies, improving processes, and resolving customer and system issues that impact the loyalty experience.
- Maintain thought leadership by staying informed on industry trends and competitive loyalty programs, proposing recommendations that strengthen Allegiant's market position.
- Build and nurture strong cross-functional relationships while serving as the subject matter expert on loyalty initiatives across the entire organization.
- Lead a team of analysts, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management to ensure team success and development.
- Collaborate with finance and marketing to forecast program financials, evaluate ROI, and justify investments in loyalty projects.
- Own the governance of the loyalty platform, ensuring that rules, logic, and member communications are accurate and aligned with business objectives.
- Other duties as assigned to support the strategic priorities of the Allegiant brand and its loyalty ecosystem.
Requirements
- The combination of Education and Experience will be considered for this role, provided the candidate meets the hard requirements.
- The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986 and must maintain valid work authorization throughout the duration of employment.
- A successful completion of a Criminal Background Check is mandatory for all candidates prior to employment consideration.
- The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree as a minimum educational requirement.
- The degree must be in Marketing, Business, Economics, Finance, or a closely related field that provides relevant foundational knowledge.
- The candidate must bring a minimum of five (5) or more years of progressive professional experience.
- Experience must span across loyalty, customer engagement, product management, CRM, marketing, or other closely related functional areas.
- The candidate must have demonstrable experience managing cross-functional projects from initial concept through full execution and delivery.
- The candidate must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate customer insights into actionable business recommendations.
- The candidate must have prior experience working with external vendors or strategic partners to manage relationships and drive joint initiatives.
- The candidate must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing and articulating ideas to diverse audiences.
- The candidate must have a proven ability to influence stakeholders across multiple business functions without direct authority, fostering collaboration and alignment.
- The candidate must be comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities can shift rapidly.
- The candidate must demonstrate integrity and professionalism in all interactions, representing Allegiant with a high level of ethical standards.
- The candidate must be detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and quality in all deliverables and analytical outputs.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience within airline, travel, hospitality, retail, financial services, or subscription-based loyalty programs.
- Practical familiarity with co-brand credit card programs and partnership marketing structures.
- Experience leveraging customer analytics, loyalty platforms, or CRM systems to derive insights and measure performance.
- Background in leading small teams or mentoring direct reports to achieve shared objectives.
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing a portfolio of loyalty partnerships.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to optimize member behavior.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations specific to the travel and financial services sectors.
