Key facts

What you'll do

• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to facilitate technical pre-sales activities, including conducting discovery sessions, delivering product demonstrations, and managing Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Address both technical and business needs by preparing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and providing comprehensive business justifications.
• Work alongside channel partners to deliver training, support, and technical guidance throughout the sales process, ensuring they are well-equipped to promote our solutions.
• Develop tailored search applications and integrations utilizing Algolia's APIs to meet specific client requirements.
• Conduct webinars aimed at onboarding partners and showcasing new features of the platform, enhancing their understanding and usage of our tools.
• Serve as the representative voice of our customers by providing insightful feedback to our Engineering and Product teams, contributing to product development and enhancements.
• Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new clients by collaborating with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams to ensure all technical aspects are addressed.
• Engage in ongoing learning to stay updated with industry trends and Algolia's evolving product suite, ensuring you can provide the best solutions to clients.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a technical role that involves direct customer interaction, such as Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Consultant, or Product Manager, ideally within a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.
• Strong software development skills, with proficiency in either front-end technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, React) or back-end languages (Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C).
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling, transformation, and enrichment processes, enabling you to address complex data challenges.
• Proven ability to communicate intricate technical concepts clearly to a wide range of audiences, from Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) to software developers.
• Experience in managing multiple customer accounts in a dynamic, high-growth setting, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with the operational requirements of companies experiencing significant growth, particularly those with an Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) between $150 million and $300 million.

Nice to have

• Experience in creating user interface mockups or wireframes using design tools such as SketchApp or Photoshop, enhancing your ability to visualize solutions.
• A background in improving search and discovery functionalities, as well as knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and analytics.
• Understanding of generative AI and the design of agentic applications, which can provide innovative solutions for our clients.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or commercetools, which can enhance your ability to serve clients in the retail sector.
• Experience in mobile application development for both iOS and Android platforms, broadening your technical skill set.
