What you'll do
- Lead the planning and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, and communicate these plans to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with various departments, including design, development, and marketing, to ensure seamless collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Facilitate regular project meetings to review progress, address challenges, and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing requirements.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring that expenditures align with approved financial plans and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Foster a positive team environment, encouraging collaboration and open communication among team members to enhance productivity and morale.
- Ensure that all project documentation is maintained accurately and is accessible to relevant stakeholders for future reference.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to gather insights and lessons learned, contributing to the continuous improvement of project management processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in project management, incorporating new methodologies and tools as appropriate.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in a technology or consulting environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering quality results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Trello, or Asana.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
Nice to have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Experience in managing projects within the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and methodologies.
- Multilingual capabilities, particularly in Maltese or Italian, would be an advantage.
