Key facts
What you'll do
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from crafting job descriptions to conducting interviews and making offers, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies that attract high-quality candidates.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, and networking events, to build a diverse talent pipeline.
- Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including behavioral interviews and skills evaluations, to ensure a strong fit for both the role and the company culture.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they receive the necessary training and resources to succeed from day one.
- Develop and implement employee development programs that foster professional growth and enhance employee engagement.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of hiring strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and employee development to continuously enhance our processes.
- Foster relationships with external recruitment agencies and educational institutions to create partnerships that support our talent acquisition efforts.
- Organize and participate in job fairs and recruitment events to promote Albertamt as an employer of choice.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Contribute to the creation of a positive workplace culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or human resources, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proven track record of successfully filling positions across various levels and functions.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Nice to have
- Experience in employee training and development, including designing and delivering training programs.
- Familiarity with employer branding strategies and initiatives.
- Knowledge of labor market trends and competitive analysis.
- Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar).
- Multilingual abilities, particularly in Maltese and English, are a plus.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software applications.
- Familiarity with social media platforms for recruitment purposes (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).
- Strong networking skills and the ability to engage with potential candidates effectively.
- Excellent presentation skills for conducting training sessions and workshops.
