What you'll do

• Design and deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate courses in business administration, ensuring alignment with academic standards and industry relevance.
• Engage in scholarly research that contributes to the field of business, with a focus on publishing in reputable academic journals.
• Mentor and advise students on academic and career-related matters, fostering their professional development and personal growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and program assessment to enhance the educational offerings of the business department.
• Participate in departmental and university committees, contributing to the governance and strategic direction of the institution.
• Organize and lead workshops, seminars, and guest lectures that enhance the learning experience and expose students to real-world business challenges.
• Develop partnerships with local businesses and organizations to create internship and job placement opportunities for students.
• Stay current with trends and advancements in business education and research, integrating new knowledge into teaching practices.

• Participate in faculty development programs to continuously improve teaching effectiveness and engage in lifelong learning.

Requirements

• A terminal degree (Ph.D. or DBA) in Business Administration or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• A strong record of teaching experience at the university level, with demonstrated effectiveness in engaging students and facilitating learning.
• Evidence of scholarly research, including publications in peer-reviewed journals or presentations at academic conferences.
• Familiarity with contemporary business practices and trends, with the ability to incorporate real-world examples into the curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.
• Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching, mentoring, and advising students.
• Ability to contribute to the university's mission and values, promoting inclusivity and diversity within the academic community.
