About the role
This role involves acting as a key strategic advisor to prominent global brands, translating their business objectives into effective customer engagement plans. You will work with a select group of Airship's largest enterprise clients in Europe, collaborating with senior leadership to demonstrate tangible return on investment and solidify Airship's position as a growth partner.

What you'll do
- Guide clients through value discovery and KPI definition, creating frameworks that link Airship's capabilities to measurable business results.
- Develop sophisticated, multi-channel customer engagement strategies for major global brands, spanning email, mobile, SMS, and digital wallets.
- Lead executive business reviews, presenting the financial impact and strategic value delivered by Airship solutions.
- Identify opportunities for client service and product adoption by integrating deeply into their business strategies, contributing to client retention.
- Facilitate workshops to help clients define their core metrics and improve their digital marketing performance.
- Create standardized processes and tools to enhance the quality of consulting services across the organization.
- Coach and mentor other consultants in the EMEA region on managing large client engagements and presenting performance-driven insights.
- Utilize artificial intelligence tools to streamline research, content creation, and performance analysis for faster, higher-quality strategic advice.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in consulting, digital marketing agencies, or senior client-side marketing leadership roles such as CRM Director, CX Lead, or Head of Lifecycle Marketing.
- Extensive experience in designing complex, multi-channel customer engagement strategies across at least three communication channels (e.g., email, mobile, SMS, web, digital wallets).
- Demonstrated success in building trust and strong relationships with C-suite and senior marketing executives in enterprise-level companies.
- Strong ability to communicate data-driven insights clearly, translating technical details into business value.
- Experience in planning and leading strategic workshops for enterprise clients.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Experience using AI tools in a personal or professional capacity, or a strong willingness to learn.
Nice to have
- Specialized knowledge in email marketing strategy, deliverability, and measurement.
- Familiarity with Marketing Cloud platforms like Adobe, Oracle, or Salesforce, or CRM systems such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proficiency in at least one additional European language, such as French, German, or Spanish.
- Practical experience applying AI tools to improve efficiency in research, reporting, and content development.
- Marketing expertise within industries Airship serves, including airlines, retail, media, or finance.

About the company
Airship is a category of lighter-than-air aircraft capable of powered, controlled navigation. These vehicles achieve lift through buoyancy provided by a lifting gas less dense than the surrounding atmosphere. Early dirigibles relied on hydrogen for its high lifting capacity and availability. The inherent flammability of hydrogen led to several fatal accidents that rendered hydrogen airships obsolete. Helium emerged as the safer alternative because it is non-flammable. Significant helium reserves were first discovered in the United States, limiting early helium airship operations largely to North America. Most airships built since the 1960s have used helium, though some employ hot air. The main structure of an airship is the envelope, which serves as the gasbag or contains gas-filled cells. Engines, crew accommodations, and payload are housed in a gondola suspended beneath the envelope. Airships are classified into three main types. Non-rigid airships, commonly called blimps, maintain their shape solely through internal gas pressure. Semi-rigid airships use internal pressure supplemented by a supporting structure such as a fixed keel. Rigid airships possess an outer structural framework that maintains the shape and carries all structural loads while containing lifting gas in internal cells. Rigid airships were pioneered by Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin and are often called zeppelins. Airships were the first aircraft to achieve controlled, powered flight. Their use declined after the 1940s as airplanes surpassed their capabilities. A series of high-profile accidents accelerated this decline. Since the 1960s, helium airships have served roles where extended hovering outweighs the need for speed. Common applications include advertising, tourism, camera platforms, geological surveys, and aerial observation.
