About the role
Aiops Group is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong .NET expertise to join their growing team in Sofia, Bulgaria. This is a full-time employee position where you will take ownership of building and maintaining web applications across the entire technology stack and contribute to long-term platform reliability. The role involves designing scalable solutions, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. You will contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the technical direction of the platform while working on both new feature development and the ongoing evolution of existing systems.

What you'll do
Design and develop scalable web applications using .NET frameworks and related technologies across multiple product lines and internal tools.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs that serve front-end applications and third-party system integrations reliably.
Write clean, testable, and well-documented code that follows established engineering standards and best practices.
Collaborate closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with robust server-side logic.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge across the engineering team.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly, optimizing application performance and overall system reliability.
Contribute to database schema design, writing efficient queries and managing relational data models carefully.
Implement security best practices including authentication mechanisms, role-based authorization, and sensitive data protection.
Work within agile development workflows, participating in sprint planning and daily standup meetings regularly.
Document technical decisions, system architecture, and deployment procedures thoroughly for future reference and team knowledge.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on .NET development and web technologies.
Proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem including ASP.NET Core and related frameworks and libraries.
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL query optimization techniques, and data modeling for performance.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, in a collaborative team development environment.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in software design and implementation practices.
Hands-on experience with REST API design, development, and consumption in production-grade deployment environments.
Strong communication skills for articulating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
Nice to have
Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or similar infrastructure and hosting services.
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes clusters.
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks, unit testing strategies, and continuous integration and deployment pipeline configurations.
Background in working with microservices architecture, distributed system design patterns, and event-driven communication.
Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code principles for streamlining deployment automation and release management.
