About the role
Agoda is actively seeking a commercial leader to take full ownership of the Flights business across Singapore and Malaysia. In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic airline partnerships and negotiating key commercial terms that define our market position. You will shape the market strategy for a product line that launched in 2019 and is now scaling rapidly across the APAC region. This is an individual contributor position that grants you end-to-end accountability for commercial performance in your markets. You will work in direct contact with C-level executives at partner airlines, representing Agoda at the highest level of discussion. Your commercial judgment will be critical in balancing short-term results with the long-term building of sustainable market advantages. You will translate high-level business goals into actionable plans that align with the broader objectives of the Flights Supply organization. This position is central to unlocking further growth and deepening our presence in two key Southeast Asian markets.

What you'll do
- Define and execute market strategies for Singapore and Malaysia, balancing growth, profitability, and competitive positioning against local rivals.
- Lead commercial negotiations with airline partners on pricing structures, inventory availability, and contractual terms that protect our margins.
- Serve as the in-market expert on aviation trends and online travel dynamics, synthesizing complex data into clear insights for internal stakeholders.
- Feed actionable market intelligence back to Product, Marketing, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure our offerings remain competitive and compliant.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key airline suppliers to drive joint initiatives around distribution, revenue growth, and customer experience.
- Coordinate closely with regional supply, operations, and product specialists on a daily basis to resolve partner needs and ensure service reliability.
- Use data and analytics to identify high-potential opportunities, test hypotheses, and iterate quickly based on measurable outcomes.
- Design, launch, and optimize new commercial models, distribution initiatives, and customer-facing features that unlock incremental growth.
- Monitor competitive activity and market shifts, adjusting our approach to maintain Agoda's strong positioning in dynamic environments.
- Collaborate with finance partners to build robust business cases and forecast models that support strategic investment decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in the Flights, OTA, or airline industry with a strong track record in commercial negotiation, distribution, and market strategy.
- Demonstrated history of delivering sustainable growth through strategic partnerships and rigorous execution in a commercial environment.
- Proven commercial judgment that effectively balances the pursuit of short-term results with the long-term building of market equity.
- Executive presence and advanced communication skills in English and Mandarin, with the ability to manage complex, high-stakes conversations with senior-level executives.
- An entrepreneurial approach combined with hands-on execution ability, and comfort operating within fast-moving, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving business settings.
- Strong analytical capability to leverage data for decision-making, stakeholder influence, and the development of evidence-based strategies.
- Experience developing and executing comprehensive business plans that span commercial, operational, legal, and marketing dimensions.
- A deep understanding of the aviation retailing landscape and the commercial dynamics that shape airline partnerships in Southeast Asia.
