The role is responsible for guiding a contract from its initial intake, through construction and validation, to final release and ongoing collaboration. Success in this role ensures the preservation of data accuracy and system visibility, which allows clients to maintain a durable competitive edge in their markets. The work leverages powerful, pragmatic artificial intelligence as a legal force multiplier and utilizes robust integration capabilities to function as a critical data bridge.

The primary mission is to uphold the integrity of the Agiloft Data-first Agreement Platform (DAP). This platform serves as the foundation upon which customers rapidly and collaboratively achieve agreement, using contract data to drive visibility and strategic advantage. The organization's position as a leader, recognized by top analysts such as Gartner, Forrester, and IDC, is built on this very platform. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will design and manage intake workflows with the explicit goal of capturing precise requirements before any development code interacts with the platform. This involves architecting schema changes within the DAP to accommodate evolving business needs while ensuring all existing logic continues to function without disruption.

A core duty is the execution of rigorous validation routines. These tests confirm that contract logic adheres strictly to governance standards and business rules prior to any release. The role also requires orchestrating integration pipelines to guarantee that information moves cleanly and reliably between disparate systems, preventing any loss or corruption of data.

The engineer will champion structured review cycles where internal stakeholders and external clients verify system behavior against real-world business scenarios. This involves streamlining release procedures so that updates deploy reliably with minimal need for manual intervention. Another critical function is coordinating with external and internal partners to align data formats and eliminate barriers within connected ecosystems.

Finally, the role requires monitoring live usage patterns and gathering feedback to continuously iterate on features. The goal of this iteration is to improve user adoption and system clarity, ensuring the platform remains effective and efficient.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience building systems specifically designed to manage legal documents. A deep understanding of how to model flexible data structures for complex and varied agreement terms is mandatory. The ability to write comprehensive tests that prove functionality under a wide range of conditions before deployment is essential.

Clear communication skills are required to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders during the discovery and planning phases. Professionals must be adept at navigating complex APIs and database schemas while maintaining an uncompromising focus on strict data integrity.
