What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to define project requirements and deliver solutions that exceed client expectations.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues and improve performance.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment and maintenance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve your skills and the team's capabilities.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing of applications before deployment.
• Engage in agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Assist in the estimation of project timelines and resource requirements to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on web applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, and experience with relevant frameworks (e.g., Spring, .NET, Django).
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with database management systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, is essential.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience in developing mobile applications for iOS or Android platforms.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices in software development.
• Previous experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
