What you'll do

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements.
• Design, develop, and implement high-quality software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security before deployment.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to resolve issues and improve overall performance.
• Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive and innovative.
• Document software designs, processes, and code to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment processes and enhance system reliability.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow their skills and careers.
• Engage in agile development practices, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to the development of technical specifications and project documentation to ensure clarity and alignment among team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with web development frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• A passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of mobile application development for iOS or Android platforms.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
