What you'll do

• Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder meetings to ensure a clear understanding of project goals.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement, recommending solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies, ensuring that deliverables are met on schedule.
• Create detailed functional specifications and user stories that guide the development team in building solutions that meet business needs.
• Conduct gap analysis to assess current capabilities against desired outcomes, providing insights that inform strategic decision-making.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned on project objectives and progress.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate that solutions meet specified requirements, ensuring quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide training and support to end-users, helping them adapt to new systems and processes, and ensuring a smooth transition.
• Monitor project performance and gather feedback from stakeholders, using insights to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, leveraging this knowledge to recommend innovative solutions that drive business growth.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports and presentations, to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and retrospectives, to foster a collaborative and iterative development environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably within a technology-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of business process modeling and requirements gathering techniques.
• Proficient in creating user stories, functional specifications, and process documentation.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and presentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of SQL or other database querying languages to extract and analyze data.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master).
• Previous experience in a consulting environment, working with diverse clients across various industries.
