What you'll do

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial health.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with Bamboohr's business objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
• Manage the budgeting process, including the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to track performance against financial goals.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, including tax laws and reporting requirements, to mitigate risks and maintain the company's reputation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support decision-making and drive operational efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement to enhance overall financial management.
• Lead the finance team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure professional development and high performance within the department.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion and resolution of any issues that may arise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with a track record of driving financial performance.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop finance professionals.
• Proficient in financial software and tools, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
