About the role
We are seeking a specialist to create and grow our global mobility department from the ground up. You will define the strategy for international employee transfers, focusing on moves involving Germany while supporting our global workforce. In this capacity, you will own the end to end lifecycle of international moves, establishing the policies and playbooks that govern how our colleagues cross borders for work. You will be the central architect of our mobility framework, ensuring that every transfer aligns with our business objectives and cultural values. The role requires you to build scalable processes from scratch, translating complex regulatory landscapes into clear procedures for managers and employees. You will manage the full employee journey, from initial assignment approval to successful reintegration or completion of the mission. This position is pivotal in enabling Agile Robots to recruit and retain top talent regardless of their geographic origin. You will act as a strategic partner to hiring managers and employees, removing relocation friction so that our teams can focus on innovation and execution.

What you'll do
- Develop and execute a global mobility strategy, including internal policies and operational workflows.
- Oversee compliance regarding tax, social security, labor law, and immigration requirements for international relocations.
- Coordinate with external vendors such as legal counsel, tax advisors, and relocation service providers.
- Act as the primary advisor for employees throughout their relocation journey.
- Deploy and manage the workflex software platform, ensuring it connects with our HRIS and travel systems.
- Monitor mobility budgets, timelines, and performance data to iterate on internal processes.
- Design and maintain the end to end process for assigning and supporting international transfers.
- Partner with finance to model the total cost of ownership for assignments and ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Lead the implementation of standardized documentation for visa applications and regulatory filings.
- Analyze trends in relocation data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for automation.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex immigration cases and coordinate with authorities as needed.
- Conduct market research to benchmark mobility policies against competitors in the high tech sector.

Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in global mobility, ideally within a high-growth company or consulting firm.
- Proven ability to build operational frameworks from scratch.
- Deep understanding of international assignment regulations, including visa, tax, and social security compliance.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex regulatory changes and translate them into operational guidance.
