About the role
Agile Robots is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Data Controller to manage and oversee data processes within the SAP S/4HANA environment. The role is based at the company headquarters in Munich, Germany, and involves full-time engagement. This position plays a central part in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and governance across the organization's SAP ecosystem. The Data Controller will work closely with cross-functional teams to support business operations and reporting needs while maintaining data integrity across multiple SAP modules.

What you'll do
- Manage data flows and master data within the SAP S/4HANA system to ensure integrity, accuracy, and reliability across all business processes.
- Configure and maintain data models, tables, and views in the SAP S/4HANA environment to support operational and reporting requirements.
- Monitor data quality on an ongoing basis and implement corrective actions when discrepancies or inconsistencies are identified in the system.
- Support the migration and integration of data from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with business users to define data requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications for the development team.
- Perform regular data audits and generate detailed reports on data governance compliance and overall data health across the platform.
- Assist in the design and documentation of data management procedures, standards, and best practices for the organization.
- Coordinate with IT and finance teams to resolve data-related issues, incidents, and escalations in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the ongoing optimization of existing data structures, processing workflows, and system configurations for improved efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to team members and end users on SAP S/4HANA data handling and management practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with SAP S/4HANA in a data management or data controller capacity within a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of master data management principles, data governance frameworks, and their practical application in enterprise settings.
- Familiarity with SAP data modeling tools, the HANA database architecture, and related administration concepts.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple data projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Good communication skills for interacting effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders across departments.
- Attention to detail and a methodical, structured approach to data quality assurance and validation processes.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to the Munich headquarters for on-site collaboration, meetings, and project coordination.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and their role in enterprise data management is considered beneficial for this position.
Nice to have
- Certification in SAP S/4HANA or a related SAP data management module is a strong advantage for candidates.
- Prior experience with data migration projects involving large-scale ERP system implementations, data cutover activities, and validation procedures.
- Familiarity with SQL and HANA SQL scripting for data manipulation, transformation, and automated reporting tasks.
- Prior background in the robotics or manufacturing industry is highly valued and considered a strong plus.
