What you'll do
- Architect and develop software components for Vision Language Action Models that enable robots to perceive and act.
- Integrate AI software stacks with mechanical and electrical hardware systems to ensure synchronized operation of robot units.
- Implement production-grade code that emphasizes readability, maintainability, and performance for robotic applications.
- Design and execute validation protocols to test AI model behavior in real-world physical environments and edge cases.
- Analyze system telemetry to diagnose issues and iteratively improve the reliability of AI-driven functionalities.
- Lead knowledge transfer sessions to mentor engineers and disseminate best practices across multiple engineering teams.
- Conduct literature reviews and competitive analysis to track advancements in robotics and AI for strategic adoption.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate high-level requirements into technical specifications for AI features.
- Optimize models for latency and resource usage to meet the constraints of embedded and edge computing platforms.
- Establish testing frameworks that ensure AI components meet safety and quality standards before deployment.
- Partner with data teams to curate and refine datasets that improve the accuracy and generalization of learning systems.

Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Bring a minimum of 5 years of professional experience deploying artificial intelligence within industrial robotics settings.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of multimodal learning, including diverse training paradigms and complex model architectures.
- Possess a practical background in deep learning and machine learning, with specific expertise in reinforcement learning or world models.
- Show fluency in C++ and Python, with a proven track record of writing efficient and debuggable code.
- Exhibit strong communication skills necessary for explaining intricate technical concepts to varied stakeholders.
