What you'll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement, recommending solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop detailed functional specifications and use cases to guide the development and implementation of technology solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals.
• Conduct gap analysis to assess current capabilities against desired outcomes, providing actionable insights for system enhancements.
• Support the testing phase by developing test cases, executing tests, and ensuring that solutions meet business requirements before deployment.
• Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to utilize new systems and processes effectively.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, gathering feedback to inform future improvements and updates.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in functional analysis and technology solutions, applying this knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that technical solutions are feasible and aligned with the overall IT strategy.
• Prepare and present reports on project progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
• Act as a mentor to junior analysts, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in functional analysis or a similar role, preferably within the technology or consulting sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, including requirements gathering and process modeling techniques.
• Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.
• Familiarity with software development life cycles and systems integration processes.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required, as you will be working in a bilingual environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with specific tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation software.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and their implementation processes.
• Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or project management (e.g., PMP, Agile certifications) would be advantageous.
• Previous experience in the technology sector or with cloud-based solutions is a plus.
• Understanding of data analytics and reporting tools to support decision-making processes.
