What you'll do

• Develop and implement comprehensive market access strategies for Bamboohr's product portfolio within the META region, ensuring alignment with local regulations and healthcare policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and medical affairs, to ensure a unified approach to market access initiatives.
• Conduct thorough market assessments to identify opportunities and challenges in the META region, utilizing data analytics to inform strategic decisions.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, payers, and healthcare professionals, to facilitate product access and reimbursement.
• Lead negotiations with payers and health authorities to secure favorable pricing and reimbursement agreements for Bamboohr's products.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and policy changes that may impact market access strategies, providing timely insights to the leadership team.
• Prepare and present compelling value propositions and economic models to stakeholders, demonstrating the clinical and economic benefits of Bamboohr's products.
• Organize and participate in local and regional conferences, workshops, and meetings to promote Bamboohr's market access initiatives and foster collaboration with industry partners.
• Train and mentor junior team members on market access strategies and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to market access activities, maintaining the highest ethical standards in all interactions.
• Collaborate with the global market access team to share insights and best practices, contributing to the overall success of Bamboohr's international market access efforts.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, outlining market access progress, challenges, and opportunities within the META region.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, business administration, or a related field; a master's degree or MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in market access, pricing, or reimbursement within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, specifically in the META region.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement processes, and market access dynamics in the META region.
• Proven track record of successful negotiations with payers and health authorities, demonstrating an ability to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and market research to inform strategic decisions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the META region as required to support market access initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience in a regional or global market access role within a multinational pharmaceutical company.
• Familiarity with health technology assessment (HTA) processes and methodologies in the META region.
• Previous experience in launching new products and managing product life cycles in the pharmaceutical industry.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data analysis and presentation preparation.
• Familiarity with market access tools and software, including pricing and reimbursement databases.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis software and data visualization tools is an advantage.
