What you'll do

• Oversee the quality control processes for pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Develop and implement quality control methodologies and procedures to enhance product quality and safety.
• Conduct regular audits of quality control systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, regulatory affairs, and R&D, to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead investigations into quality incidents, documenting findings and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
• Provide training and support to quality control staff, fostering a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and analyze quality control data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to enhance product quality.
• Prepare and present quality control reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes, ensuring that the quality control processes remain compliant and effective.
• Participate in the development of quality-related documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality manuals.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and customers, to address quality-related inquiries and concerns.
• Contribute to the development and execution of quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as pharmacy, chemistry, or life sciences; advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards, including GMP, GLP, and ISO.
• Proven experience in leading quality control teams and managing quality improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience with quality control in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with laboratory testing methods and equipment used in pharmaceutical quality control.
• Certification in quality management or related fields (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of risk management principles and methodologies.
• Experience with regulatory inspections and audits.
