About the role
This role owns the end-to-end sales process for large enterprise AI engagements, partnering with technical Solutions Partners to translate complex AI capabilities into compelling business narratives for Fortune 500 CMOs. You will drive large, multi-stakeholder deals through discovery, scoping, and closed-won outcomes, navigating agentic AI systems, data architectures, and transformation initiatives with executive confidence. The position demands fluency in discussing ML pipelines, workflow integrations, and business value while maintaining a rigorous pipeline that fuels ambitious growth targets. You are accountable for designing multi-phase engagements, from pilot to full implementation, and for building persuasive business cases that quantify ROI and de-risk client adoption. Success in this role means converting high-value opportunities and establishing A.Team as the indispensable AI Systems Integrator for marketing-led enterprises.

What you'll do
- Own and lead enterprise sales cycles from initial discovery to close for deals between $250K-$2M+, maintaining a pipeline that supports ambitious growth objectives (minimum 25 qualified meetings per quarter).
- Navigate complex stakeholder environments including CMOs, CDOs, CTOs, and Fortune 500 teams - clearly communicating technical value propositions for AI systems, ML pipelines, and workflow integrations.
- Structure multi-phase engagements (from pilot to full implementation) and deliver on conversion targets: 30% SAL→SQL, 30% SQL→CWB, and approx. 9% overall SAL→CWB.
- Collaborate with Solutions Partners to shape client problems into actionable technical solutions and winning proposals, leading the development of commercial and technical narratives.
- Design deal structures that optimize client risk, proof-of-concept opportunities, and long-term growth, with persuasive business cases supported by ROI analyses and confident navigation of procurement and legal processes.
- Become an expert in the CPG/Retail vertical, deeply understanding the unique needs of marketing-led enterprise organizations and translating industry trends into persuasive sales narratives.
- Build competitive intelligence by developing objection-handling battlecards and representing A.Team at industry events, conferences, and executive briefings to strengthen market presence.
- Drive thought leadership through case studies, webinars, and content creation, evangelizing our Assemble platform and showcasing how our AI infrastructure accelerates enterprise value.
- Conduct technically fluent discussions on AI/ML concepts such as LLMs, agentic systems, RAG, fine-tuning, and ML pipelines at a business level, without requiring coding expertise.
- Demonstrate mastery of data architecture fundamentals, including data warehouses, CDPs, APIs, integrations, and data governance to credibly lead technical product demos and collaborate with technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bring 4-8+ years of Enterprise Technical Sales experience, with a proven record of selling complex technical solutions with $500K+ ACV to Fortune 500 enterprises and familiarity with AI/ML, cloud platforms, enterprise SaaS, or professional services.
- Exhibit deep knowledge of solution, value-based, or consultative sales methodologies, supported by a consistent record of quota attainment in complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Credibly discuss AI/ML concepts such as LLMs, agentic systems, RAG, fine-tuning, and ML pipelines at a business level, demonstrating technical fluency without coding requirements.
- Grasp data architecture fundamentals, including data warehouses, CDPs, APIs, integrations, and data governance, to engage intelligently with technical teams and stakeholders.
- Confidently lead technical product demos and collaborative sessions with technical stakeholders, asking insightful questions to uncover client requirements and constraints.
- Master enterprise deal orchestration by expertly managing 6-12 month sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, building strong C-suite relationships and driving opportunities through complex procurement cycles.
- Construct strategic business cases that link solutions to client financials and strategy, translating AI capabilities into measurable business results and speaking fluently with CMOs, CFOs, and CEOs.
- Practice deep discovery, challenge client assumptions, and design visionary yet pragmatic AI solutions that balance innovation with practical implementation realities.
- Operate with high agency and execution as a driven self-starter, comfortably navigating ambiguity and building playbooks and processes on-the-fly without robust sales support infrastructure.
- Deliver strong executive presence and storytelling, outstanding written communications, and active listening that builds real client trust and generates actionable insights.
