About the role
You will own the strategic management of a portfolio of key 9fin Radar clients, ensuring their success and deepening platform adoption. You will drive account expansion by identifying and executing upsell and referral opportunities across existing relationships. You will demonstrate new features and products from the 9fin Radar platform, articulating clear value to client stakeholders. You will engage with senior decision makers and influencers to uncover future business and product opportunities within their organizations. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to enhance product workflows and contribute to a top-tier customer experience. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and pipeline activity in the CRM. You will represent 9fin at industry conferences and events to strengthen brand presence and generate growth opportunities.

What you'll do
- Manage and cultivate a book of key 9fin Radar clients to ensure retention and growth.
- Drive account expansion by identifying upsell and referral opportunities within existing relationships.
- Demonstrate new features and capabilities of the 9fin Radar platform to clients in tailored sessions.
- Attend relevant industry conferences and events to represent 9fin and build client relationships.
- Develop and refine pricing strategies to enable effective upselling and cross-selling of 9fin products and services.
- Engage with senior decision makers and influencers to surface future product and business opportunities.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of client interactions, outcomes, and pipeline status in the CRM.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align product enhancements with client needs and workflow requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor, translating client challenges into solutions using 9fin Radar capabilities.
- Identify patterns across the portfolio to inform account strategies and highlight risks or opportunities.
- Support the creation of materials and case studies that showcase client success and platform value.
- Proactively monitor client health and usage signals to trigger timely outreach and engagement.
- Represent the Sales team in cross-functional discussions to improve product positioning and go-to-market execution.
- Contribute feedback from client interactions to guide product roadmap and feature prioritization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite and operational stakeholders at client organizations.
Requirements
You must possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant account management experience within Capital Markets, B2B Sales, or Business Development. You have a proven track record of managing and growing a book of enterprise clients with a minimum value of $1 million or more. You demonstrate strong knowledge of financial markets and the ability to build trusted relationships across the buy-side, sell-side, and advisory communities. You are skilled at planning and prioritizing important tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables. You communicate effectively using clear, concise, and professional written and verbal language. You are a team player who also excels when working independently, knowing that support is available when needed. Existing relationships or a professional network within the Leveraged Finance community would be beneficial for success in this role. You are comfortable using technology platforms and CRMs to manage complex account information. You have the ability to adapt your communication style to senior executives and technical specialists. You show commitment to continuous learning and applying feedback to improve performance over time. You are reliable, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
A background in financial services or debt markets would align well with the role. Experience with sales or account management in a B2B SaaS environment is advantageous. Familiarity with AI tools and platforms and an interest in experimenting with them to improve workflows. An understanding of data and analytics concepts to interpret client usage and engagement trends. Exposure to regulated industries and compliance considerations relevant to financial services clients.
Practical notes
This is a full-time position based in London. The role operates within a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility in how, where, and when you perform your best work. You may be required to travel to client sites, industry conferences, and company events as needed. Work abroad is available for up to 3 months per year. A paid sabbatical of 1 month is offered after 5 years of service with the company. Enhanced parental leave and flexible working arrangements are available to support your needs.
