Account Executive
Job description
About the role
This role owns the end-to-end sales cycle within the US market, acting as the primary commercial owner for strategic client relationships from initial discovery through to expansion. You will be responsible for identifying and activating new sales opportunities within both new and existing client logos, driving revenue growth across a portfolio of blue-chip institutions. The hire will build a reliable and repeatable sales pipeline that feeds the broader organization with high-intent demand. You will distill 9fin's complex value proposition into clear, compelling narratives and demonstrate how the platform solves critical debt market workflows through live and virtual client engagements. Success in this role requires the ability to negotiate and close new business while maintaining meticulous record-keeping and accurate forecasting within the CRM. You will collaborate directly with senior management to shape sales processes and best practices, and work closely with the product team to provide frontline feedback that influences product optimization. This position is defined by ownership, consistency, and a data-driven approach to pipeline and revenue generation in the world's largest asset class.
