What you'll do
- Synthesize primary market activity by reviewing new debt transactions in the US high yield and leveraged loan markets, ensuring reports are delivered quickly with insightful commentary.
- Support secondary research initiatives by partnering with senior analysts to deep dive into high yield earnings, updating financial metrics on specific credits, and producing predictive analysis.
- Lead relationship and product evangelism by interfacing directly with clients, answering platform questions, and gathering actionable feedback to inform product improvements.
- Translate complex financial documents and market moves into clear, concise, and accurate copy that meets the standards of sophisticated institutional audiences.
- Monitor evolving market conditions and credit profiles, providing timely updates that help maintain the accuracy and relevance of 9fin's datasets.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate user feedback into feature enhancements, taking ownership of specific initiatives from discovery through execution.

Requirements
- 0-1 years of relevant work experience, or a strong interest in financial markets and a demonstrated desire to learn how they operate.
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with a strong academic record showing capability in quantitative or analytical fields.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clean, timely, and accurate copy in a concise manner.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to checking work for accuracy and completeness.
