This position is ideal for someone with experience in managing Corporate or B2B clients within an agency environment. The successful candidate will be adept at pitching ideas and will have exceptional skills in account and time management. You will play a crucial role in driving media results and fostering strong relationships within the media landscape.

What you'll do

• Oversee the workflow of the team while taking full responsibility for account management and ensuring consistent media outcomes.
• Create and produce a variety of media materials, including press kits, press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, bios, and case studies that effectively communicate client narratives.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key media figures to secure valuable media placements for clients.
• Formulate and implement strategic communication plans that align with overall public relations strategies, outlining media opportunities, tactics, and timelines.
• Advise on and execute public relations strategies while collaboratively developing detailed media plans tailored to client needs.
• Generate innovative and proactive pitch ideas for clients, drawing inspiration from industry trends and significant announcements.
• Monitor media coverage and proactively seek speaking engagements for clients, positioning them as authorities in their respective fields.
• Engage in daily interactions with clients to provide updates, discuss strategies, and evaluate results.
• Contribute to the research, writing, and development of proposals and presentations aimed at securing new business.
• Offer mentorship and leadership to junior staff members, guiding them in their professional development.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to cultivate strategic and creative solutions for client challenges.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a public relations agency, with a focus on corporate clients preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Strong leadership qualities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire others.
• Proven experience in managing client relationships and supervisory roles.
• A creative and dynamic personality that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and social media platforms.
• Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
• Knowledge of analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
• Previous experience in a specific industry related to one of our corporate clients, such as technology, healthcare, or finance.

• Familiarity with project management software to streamline workflow and enhance team collaboration.
• Strong understanding of public relations metrics and the ability to interpret data to inform strategies.
• Experience with graphic design tools for creating visually appealing media materials.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
