What you'll do

• Design and develop comprehensive solutions that align with client requirements and organizational goals, ensuring adherence to security protocols and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend innovative solutions that enhance performance and security.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecture, systems engineering, or a related field, preferably within the defense or intelligence community.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud computing technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and their application in secure environments.
• Proven experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, RMF, and ISO 27001, and their application in solution design.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, with a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, particularly in secure environments.
• Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools, enabling the development of data-driven solutions.
• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in defense and intelligence sectors.
• Previous experience working with government contracts and understanding of compliance regulations specific to the defense industry.

Skills & tools

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#, and experience with frameworks relevant to solution development.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and their integration into solution architectures.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
