About the role
In this position, you will play a vital role in enhancing Zuora's compensation and benefits initiatives. Your contributions will focus on refining, communicating, and managing competitive offerings that cater to the needs of all employees. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Global Total Rewards, you will work closely with HR and business leaders to ensure exceptional support and improve the overall rewards framework within the organization.

What you'll do
- Utilize technology to conduct market pricing and develop analyses for mapping compensation structures effectively.
- Serve as the main point of contact for participating in various compensation surveys to gather relevant data.
- Assist in the annual compensation processes, which include merit increases, bonus plans, and promotions by evaluating salary structures, suggesting adjustments, testing compensation software, reviewing pay changes for budget alignment and equity, and calculating bonus payouts.
- Collaborate with HR Operations to facilitate benefits-related onboarding, offboarding, and overall Total Rewards administration.
- Support the management of the annual U.S. Benefits Open Enrollment process to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies related to benefits eligibility in a timely manner.
- Oversee benefits invoices, ensuring proper reconciliation and coordination with vendors and internal teams.
- Provide initial assistance to employees regarding inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
- Help develop and update employee communications, training materials, and resources pertaining to benefits.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for compensation, benefits, time off, and leave of absence policies and procedures.
- Participate in compensation and benefits projects, compliance initiatives, and process enhancement efforts.
- Aid in the administration of leave of absence processes, including maintaining records in Workday, conducting data consistency checks, coordinating manager approvals, and responding promptly to disability claims.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, global compensation, or global benefits is essential.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets is required, including advanced functions, charting, pivot tables, and data analysis capabilities.
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills to interpret data effectively and provide informed recommendations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A high degree of integrity, discretion, and sound judgment is crucial when dealing with sensitive information.
Nice to have
- Experience with Workday, especially in the area of Workday Advanced Compensation, is a plus.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with compensation platforms such as Pave or similar external tools is desirable.

Practical notes
- Candidates located in the Pacific Time zone are preferred for this role.
- Occasional travel may be necessary for team gatherings, events, or offsite meetings.
