Sr. Analyst Relations Manager
Job description
About the role
This position defines and owns the end-to-end analyst relations strategy for Zuora's AI monetization platform, ensuring that key narratives shape category conversations during the critical 12-18 month window when analysts define AI pricing and billing frameworks. The hire partners closely with product, PMM, and executive leadership to translate complex platform capabilities into clear, repeatable stories that influential analysts communicate to enterprise buyers. Success is measured by elevated leadership positioning, credible presence in major analyst firm evaluations, and the ability to drive decisions in fast-moving, ambiguous market conditions. The role requires a strategic mindset that balances data-driven insights with persuasive storytelling to turn technical capabilities into narratives that analysts will confidently share with clients. You will own high-stakes, cross-functional programs that align internal stakeholders and external messaging to support decisions across sales, product, marketing, and operations. The position demands comfort with executive prep, rapid feedback cycles, and high-visibility deliverables under firm deadlines while maintaining strong, credible relationships with key research firms. You will synthesize noisy market input into a clear point of view and actionable next steps that advance Zuora's positioning in usage-based, consumption, and AI monetization models.

Typical interview steps
Analyst interviews often include a SQL or spreadsheet exercise, a case question, and behavioral rounds. Candidates may be asked to analyze a dataset, define a metric, or estimate an outcome. Presenting findings clearly is tested as often as the analysis itself. Interviewers often test speed and clarity with a timed exercise. Explaining what the numbers mean, not just what they are, is the differentiator.

Questions to ask
Useful questions for the interview: what a typical week looks like, how work is assigned, what tools the team uses, and how feedback works. Asking how the role has changed recently and what the team wishes it had known when joining is also reasonable. Questions about the manager's priorities are especially valued.
