You will operate as a payments subject matter expert throughout the sales cycle while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to validate solution fit. You will translate intricate payment flows into clear narratives that align technical capabilities with specific business outcomes. This role owns the customer's payment roadmap by identifying opportunities to leverage platform features and integrations. You will gather requirements, define success metrics, and validate that implemented solutions address the stated business problems. You will represent the voice of the customer internally to influence product direction and improve future releases.

What you'll do
Perform discovery sessions to understand enterprise high-volume B2C and B2SMB payment challenges and objectives.
Design complex payment architectures that leverage payment service providers, gateways, and orchestration layers for global scale.
Demonstrate deep payment domain expertise across PSPs, acquirers, card networks, payment rails, and alternative payment methods.
Apply payment optimization strategies such as intelligent routing, authorization optimization, tokenization, and resilience patterns.
Lead customer presentations and workshops to validate solution designs and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide feedback on API capabilities, integration patterns, and feature enhancements.
Utilize REST APIs, webhooks, and modern integration patterns to configure and test payment flows in sandbox environments.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications that guide implementation and integration efforts.
Conduct solution validations to ensure deployed payment architectures meet performance, security, and reliability standards.
Partner with sales teams to build compelling narratives that highlight the value of optimized payment operations and reduced complexity.
Support proof-of-concept efforts to de-risk technical decisions and accelerate enterprise adoption.
Document best practices, use cases, and configuration guidance to enable consistent delivery across customer engagements.
Engage in continuous learning to stay current with payment technology trends and regulatory changes affecting global transactions.
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by mentoring peers and junior team members on payment strategies and integrations.
Requirements
Deep domain expertise in enterprise payments is gained through experience with a Payment Service Provider, payment gateway, payment orchestration platform, payment processor, or related payments technology.
A strong understanding of payment ecosystems is demonstrated across PSPs, gateways, acquirers, processors, card networks, payment rails, embedded payments, digital wallets, and alternative payment methods at global scale.
Complex payment architectures are designed and discussed for enterprise high volume B2C and B2SMB customers.
Payment optimization strategies, including intelligent routing, authorization optimization, tokenization, payment resilience, and recovery, are applied.
Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, and modern integration patterns is required.
Outstanding presentation, communication, and customer-facing consulting skills are necessary.
Bachelor's degree is required.
