This position involves partnering with sales teams to ensure technical wins for billing and quote-to-cash opportunities. You will serve as a technical subject matter expert for key clients, focusing on modern business models like usage-based pricing and AI-driven services.

What you'll do
- Guide sales cycles by providing technical expertise, designing solutions, and addressing client concerns to secure technical approval.
- Maintain the technical well-being of assigned accounts by diagnosing issues, advising on best practices, and assisting with escalations.
- Design and construct quote-to-cash solutions, including CPQ, billing, and revenue recognition, with a focus on consumption and usage-based models.
- Develop and execute hands-on proofs of concept, working with APIs, data, and integrations.
- Explain how customers can monetize usage and AI-driven products, covering event capture, rating, and billing.
- Present technical architectures and pricing model trade-offs to both business and technical audiences, highlighting business value.
- Support customer adoption and identify opportunities for expansion within existing accounts.
- Contribute to RFPs/RFIs, industry events, and customer reference activities, collaborating with internal teams and partners.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years in a Sales Engineering, Presales, or Solution Architecture role, with proven success in securing technical wins for enterprise deals.
- Direct experience with billing or quote-to-cash processes, including the design or construction of solutions covering CPQ, billing, and revenue.
- Proficiency in consumption and usage-based billing concepts, including metering, rating, and mediation.
- Familiarity with AI-native environments and how to monetize AI-driven and usage-based products.
- Strong technical understanding of APIs, integration patterns, data management, and modern application architecture.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in FinTech or enterprise software.
- Experience with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or Value Selling is beneficial.

- Compensation range: $124,375 - $251,160 OTE (On-Target Earnings), which includes base salary and target variable compensation. Base pay range is $99,500 - $193,200 USD. Final compensation will be determined by factors including qualifications, experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
