Key facts

What you'll do

• Spearhead the development of innovative identity management solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
• Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs utilizing Java, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
• Uphold high standards of code quality by conducting thorough unit, integration, and performance testing.
• Actively monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system performance to ensure optimal user experience.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Business teams to create integrated solutions that align with business objectives.
• Engage in Agile and Scrum methodologies, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide support for the platform through on-call rotations, ensuring adherence to federal regulations and compliance standards.
• Contribute to the architectural design of systems, focusing on scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of learning and growth within the team.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our identity management offerings.
• Document technical specifications and design decisions to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development efforts.

Requirements

• Solid foundational understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.
• Proven experience in securing or implementing AI-driven solutions within enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency in enterprise Java, with a solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles and systems architecture.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate, with a focus on best practices in API design.
• Practical experience with SQL databases, particularly Postgres, for data management and retrieval.
• Hands-on expertise with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, including AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to deploy and manage applications.
• Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and methodologies to streamline development processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-driven anomaly detection systems, intelligent identity analytics, or machine learning applications for automated policy generation.
• Knowledge of DevOps automation practices, advanced CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration techniques.
• Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, Federation, and Single Sign-On (SSO).

Skills & tools

• Proficient in Java, with experience in frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Skilled in working with SQL and Postgres databases for data handling.
• Experienced with container technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Knowledgeable in cloud services, particularly AWS and GCP, for application deployment.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipeline tools to facilitate efficient software delivery.
• Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and practices.
