About the role
Zscaler is seeking a marketing professional to join our Platform Marketing team and report to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing. You will focus on promoting platform services including resilience, APIs, automation, Business Continuity Cloud, Zscaler Client Connector, and our agentic operations framework. In this hybrid role, you will operate primarily from our San Jose, California location while collaborating with distributed teams. The position demands a strategic thinker who can bridge complex technical concepts with compelling customer narratives. You will own the end-to-end marketing lifecycle for assigned platform offerings. Success in this role requires balancing creative messaging with rigorous data-driven decision making. You will act as the market voice within the product development process. This role is critical for driving awareness and adoption of Zscaler's next-generation platform capabilities.

What you'll do
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning for platform services.
- Architect comprehensive go-to-market strategies that align messaging, packaging, and campaign tactics with business objectives.
- Translate intricate technical features into clear, value-based narratives that resonate with specific customer pain points.
- Author diverse product collateral, including sales sheets, datasheets, and presentation materials that maintain brand consistency.
- Partner closely with product management to refine positioning and ensure go-to-market plans reflect product roadmaps.
- Orchestrate cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless execution of new product releases and launches.
- Develop and manage sales enablement assets such as training modules, messaging guides, and competitive battle cards.
- Build and maintain a robust library of sales tools and content that empowers teams to close deals efficiently.
- Track and report on campaign performance and pipeline influence to optimize marketing investments.
- Collaborate with demand generation and field marketing teams to execute integrated campaigns that drive awareness and pipeline.
- Serve as the primary content creator for digital channels, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality marketing materials.
- Facilitate workshops and internal training sessions to elevate the organization's product knowledge.
- Leverage data insights to iterate on messaging and improve targeting across customer segments.
- Act as a strategic advisor to sales leadership on market positioning and competitive differentiation.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise product marketing, SaaS, cybersecurity, or Security Operations.
- BS or MS degree in a Business or STEM field.
- Proven ability to produce high-impact marketing content and professional slide decks.
- Specialized knowledge in cloud architecture, network security, or related technical domains.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it to both technical and executive audiences.
- Comfort working with data, metrics, and analytical tools to inform marketing decisions.
- Willingness to adhere to strict company security and privacy policies at all times.
- Commitment to working within the hybrid work model based in San Jose, California.
- Capability to travel as needed for company or team events within reasonable distances.
Nice to have
- Deep familiarity with managed security services, security operations challenges, and enterprise security trends.
- Demonstrated track record of scaling or launching B2B SaaS and security solutions.
- Experience successfully driving market adoption for differentiated products.
- Understanding of agentic operations frameworks and how they integrate with platform strategies.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory considerations in cybersecurity markets.
- Experience with ABM (Account-Based Marketing) tactics targeting enterprise clients.

Base Pay Range: $1 - $1 USD (This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires across all US locations; actual pay depends on skills, experience, and training).
