Regulatory Compliance and AML Manager
Job description
About the role
You will serve as the primary regulatory compliance owner for Xendit's operations in Mexico, driving the implementation and execution of all relevant compliance frameworks. In this capacity, you will autonomously manage the interpretation and application of Mexican financial regulations and broader LATAM legal requirements to ensure zero tolerance for regulatory breaches. You will act as the central point of contact for regulators, translating complex legal jargon into actionable internal policies and controls. This role requires you to own the end-to-end lifecycle of compliance initiatives, from risk assessment through remediation and validation. You will proactively identify regulatory gaps and design controls to mitigate potential fines, sanctions, and reputational damage. The position demands a high degree of integrity and the ability to operate independently with extreme ownership of regulatory outcomes. You will also shape the compliance culture within the region by mentoring peers and ensuring that compliance is embedded in daily operations.
