What you'll do

• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement long hole mining plans that optimize resource extraction while adhering to safety regulations.

• Conduct geological assessments to identify and evaluate mineral deposits, contributing to the planning of mining operations.

Requirements

• A degree in Mining Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Familiarity with mining engineering principles, particularly in long hole mining techniques.
• Basic understanding of geological concepts and mineral resource evaluation.
• Proficiency in using mining software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Surpac, or similar applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced mining environment.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
