Staff Developer Advocate
Job description
About the role
Workato is seeking a Staff Developer Advocate to serve as a technical leader who shapes the developer experience for our agentic infrastructure platform. In this role, you will act as a critical bridge between our product and engineering teams and the external developer ecosystem. Your primary mission is to produce high-quality technical content and build robust community programs that drive tangible adoption of our integration platform (iPaaS) and AI orchestration tools. You will own the narrative around developer productivity, platform extensibility, and the broader value of automation. This requires a deep understanding of integration and automation challenges, especially within an agentic context, and the ability to translate complex platform features into clear, accurate, and actionable guidance for technical audiences. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely with leadership across engineering, product, and sales to ensure that all external messaging remains precise, valuable, and aligned with product reality. Success in this position is defined by your ability to grow a vibrant, active, and technically sophisticated developer community that derives real value from the Workato platform.
