What you'll do

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial reports to provide insights into business performance and support strategic planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide guidance on budget management and forecasting.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable, including the management of vendor relationships.
• Conduct regular audits of financial processes and internal controls to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure adherence to tax regulations and deadlines.
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA designation is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with SAP or Oracle is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the technology or digital marketing sectors is advantageous.
• Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS) and local tax regulations.
