What you'll do
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates across various roles within the organization.
- Conduct thorough job analysis to create accurate and compelling job descriptions that reflect the responsibilities and qualifications needed for each position.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans that align with business objectives.
- Utilize various recruitment platforms and social media channels to promote job openings and engage with potential candidates.
- Analyze recruitment metrics and trends to assess the effectiveness of hiring strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Facilitate training and development programs for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company and promote employee retention.
- Foster relationships with local universities and professional organizations to build a pipeline of future talent and enhance the company's visibility in the community.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and development to continuously improve processes and strategies.
- Assist in the development of employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture and enhance employee satisfaction.
- Participate in performance management processes to identify training needs and support employee growth and development.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding career development opportunities and provide guidance on professional growth paths within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or human resources, preferably in a construction or related industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing the recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations related to hiring and employment practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software to streamline recruitment processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to assess recruitment metrics and make informed decisions.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in recruitment practices.
