What you'll do
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses to assess cost structures and identify areas for improvement within the organization.
- Prepare detailed financial reports that provide insights into cost trends and variances, enabling informed decision-making by management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost management, providing actionable recommendations to enhance financial performance.

- Participate in monthly and quarterly financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results.

- Engage in ad-hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate the financial impact of potential business initiatives and projects.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis, applying this knowledge to improve internal processes.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for stakeholders, summarizing financial data and insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration on financial matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on cost management.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with a strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Experience with financial software and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and business intelligence platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- An MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
- Familiarity with the automotive or technology sectors, particularly in relation to cost management practices.
