About the role
Vynca is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor within the Clinical Operations team. This role is designed to support the organization by aligning HR initiatives with overall business objectives, ensuring that the company's growth and operational goals are met effectively. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for managing employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and compliance activities across a distributed care team. This position requires a proactive approach to supporting clinical staff and leadership, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring adherence to all relevant employment laws and healthcare regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement HR strategies that enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness in a dynamic, regulated environment.

What you'll do
- Collaborate closely with clinical leadership to develop and implement people strategies that support operational goals and improve patient outcomes.
- Provide expert guidance on organizational structure and team design to facilitate growth, scalability, and high-quality care delivery.
- Analyze workforce metrics such as employee turnover, engagement scores, and other relevant data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
- Assist with workforce planning activities, including forecasting staffing needs, developing succession plans, and supporting organizational growth initiatives.
- Support clinical leaders in handling employee relations issues, conducting investigations, and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Coach managers and team leads on effective feedback delivery, conflict resolution, and handling employee concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Oversee performance management processes, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures across multiple states, and supporting managers in conducting reviews and development plans.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of clinical roles and their unique challenges to better support staff and leadership.
- Lead initiatives aimed at reducing burnout, improving staff retention, and fostering a positive work environment, especially for staff working with vulnerable populations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including healthcare-specific regulations, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements.
- Partner with the HR Compliance team to conduct investigations, manage risk, and implement policies that mitigate legal exposure.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the organization, fostering an inclusive culture that values different perspectives and backgrounds.
- Assist in developing and delivering training programs related to HR policies, compliance, and professional development.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
- Maintain accurate HR records, documentation, and reporting to support audits and compliance requirements.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and operational needs.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new hires and departing staff.
- Promote a positive employer brand by supporting initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, demonstrating increasing responsibility and scope.
- At least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or comparable strategic HR role supporting clinical, healthcare, or field-based workforces.
- Proven experience managing employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance management in multi-state settings.
- Demonstrated success supporting leaders in fast-paced, growing organizations with evolving needs.
- Experience supporting remote or hybrid distributed teams, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities they present.
- Strong strategic thinking skills combined with the ability to execute tactically in ambiguous or complex situations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and generate actionable insights.
- Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations applicable in multiple states, including healthcare-specific compliance requirements.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Reside in Colorado, Illinois, Utah, or Texas, as these are the specified locations for this role.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, data analysis tools, and standard office software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
