Systems Engineer I - ISR
Job description
About the role
The Systems Engineer I will develop a functional understanding of classic, modern, and emerging wireless communications protocols and systems such as AM/FM, DMR, 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, LoRa, and Zigbee. They will design and prototype software defined radio solutions to address specific signal processing problems within the ISR domain. The role involves modeling and simulating wireless signals along with RF propagation effects to support analysis and validation activities. The engineer will collaborate closely with software development teams to develop, integrate, and test software defined radio systems in both laboratory and field environments. They will perform testing and validation of ISR systems in the laboratory and outdoor facilities and test ranges to ensure performance against requirements. This position requires US citizenship due to program security requirements and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, with active clearance being preferred.
