Intricate 2D and 3D models are created and refined, advanced CAD commands are applied, and precise technical drawings are produced to communicate detailed specifications for design and manufacturing.
Engineering drawings are interpreted using geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and dimensional and tolerance requirements are communicated clearly to ensure accurate implementation.
3D models are built using advanced features, and contributions to solid modeling practices support manufacturing and integration activities.
Material properties for ceramics, insulators, metals, and refractory metals are characterized and applied to enable solutions for demanding thermal and structural environments.
Complex application solutions are developed, and research drives innovation in insulator materials and refractory metal alloys to resolve performance issues.
Professional presentations are designed, and complex technical concepts are documented in specialized technical writing with accuracy and precision for varied stakeholders.
Simulation setups are constructed, models are validated, and data-driven engineering decisions are made using structural, dynamic, and thermal analysis results.
Structural designs are optimized and thermal management challenges are addressed based on analysis insights and system-level requirements.
Test plans are developed, objectives are defined, procedures are established, and schedules are created for straightforward scenarios.
Mass reduction opportunities are identified, and optimization strategies are proposed for critical systems.
Failure modes are analyzed, and reliability and safety measures are implemented, drawing on recognized authority in relevant domains.
Procurement activities are supported, proposal structures are interpreted, and simple schedules are created using basic tools and terminology.
Burn characteristics are analyzed through advanced grain design methodologies, and performance is optimized based on combustion principles.

Requirements
U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or protected individual status is required to meet ITAR/EAR export compliance and to obtain/maintain a U.S. security clearance.
A Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university is required; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Travel approximately 10% of the time is required.
