About the role
You will serve as an internal consulting partner to the Chief of Staff, owning the end-to-end management of high-stakes operational initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders across gaming, publishing, growth, and central departments, guiding them through complex organizational change. This role requires you to move beyond advisory positions and directly implement solutions that reshape how the company operates. You will be responsible for driving cross-functional alignment on the most critical efficiency and execution challenges. Your work will provide direct insider access to leadership while applying a rigorous consultant's methodology to deliver tangible results. You will own ambiguous problems from initial discovery through final resolution, ensuring no issue falls through the cracks. Ultimately, you will be the catalyst for sustainable improvements in how Voodoo functions on a daily basis.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end ownership of tactical projects that span four to twelve weeks, including market analysis, cost optimization reviews, post-mortems, system integrations, and tool deployments.
- Partner directly with gaming, publishing, growth, and central teams to diagnose inefficiencies and architect permanent solutions rather than providing temporary recommendations.
- Resolve complex, cross-functional issues that lack clear ownership by driving discovery, aligning stakeholders, and shepherding initiatives to completion.
- Analyze existing workflows and operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement changes that improve key performance indicators, organizational structure, tools, and working methods.
- Standardize documentation and governance for tools and processes to ensure consistent adoption across portfolio teams and departments.
- Support portfolio teams by conducting market analysis and cost reviews to enable smarter strategic decisions and optimize resource allocation.
- Act as a hands-on executor, managing multiple concurrent workstreams with a high degree of autonomy and delivering tangible outcomes without constant supervision.
- Build trust and influence with leaders through strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating impact without relying on formal authority.
- Leverage advanced spreadsheet applications and data analysis techniques to transform raw information into actionable insights.
- Apply SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and interpret data, providing evidence-based recommendations that drive operational excellence.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree from a top academic institution in business or engineering, ensuring a solid foundation for analytical and strategic work.
- Bring two to five years of professional experience from top-tier strategy consulting firms, such as MBB, or from transaction service roles in demanding environments.
- Demonstrate experience in high-growth startup environments where roles evolved rapidly, requiring adaptability and a broad scope of responsibility.
- Exhibit a hands-on mentality, capable of executing solutions end-to-end while managing multiple priorities with autonomy and precision.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to quickly establish credibility and influence leaders across the organization.
- Fluency in English is mandatory for effective communication and documentation across global teams.
- Proficiency in French is an asset for seamless collaboration within the Paris-based team and stakeholders.
- Have a genuine interest in mobile games and consumer applications to drive informed decision-making and empathetic problem-solving.
- Be proficient in advanced spreadsheet applications, using data modeling and analysis to support complex operational challenges.
- Consider SQL skills a significant advantage for querying databases and extracting independent insights.
