What you'll do
- Run end-to-end strategic projects with the CEO, framing the problem statement, driving rigorous analysis, aligning cross-functional leaders, and pushing initiatives through to decisive execution on complex topics spanning M&A, market expansion, monetization strategies, and organizational design.
- Explore and launch new greenfield ventures beyond the current portfolio, assessing high-potential opportunities, building robust business cases with clear unit economics, assembling capable founding teams, and driving a v1 product or service to market validation.
- Own and refine the company's core operating cadence, including the orchestration of leadership meetings, business reviews, OKR and goal cycles, and board preparation, ensuring that strategic decisions are not only made but rigorously followed through to completion.
- Drive the strategy and people agenda for the SPM team, recruiting, staffing, and coaching a network of high-performing internal consultants who are deployed on the company's most pressing operational problems; you will own the prioritization and portfolio management of their initiatives.
- Act as the CEO's primary proxy in critical internal and external meetings, unblocking cross-functional roadblocks in real-time, synthesizing complex information, and surfacing the key insights and decisions the CEO needs to make before issues become urgent.
- Partner closely with the CEO to analyze strategic trade-offs, challenge assumptions, and develop frameworks for evaluating major corporate decisions, ensuring that long-term value creation is central to every discussion.
- Build and maintain deep relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, translating the CEO's vision into actionable plans that different teams can own and execute against with clarity and alignment.
- Leverage data and financial acumen to assess the viability of strategic options, interpreting P&L implications, market dynamics, and operational feasibility to guide the CEO toward optimal choices.
Requirements
- Bring 10 years of cumulative experience combining top-tier strategy consulting at the Engagement Manager or Project Leader level within firms such as McKinsey, BCG, or Bain, or equivalent experience in M&A or Private Equity, coupled with hands-on operating experience in a hypergrowth tech company in roles such as BizOps, Strategy, General Management, or as a founder.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of leading complex cross-functional projects at the C-level, with a history of measurable business impact and successful delivery against ambitious objectives.
- Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, evidenced by having built something from scratch, whether it is a new venture, a business line, or a market launch that achieved tangible results.
- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities and financial fluency, comfortably interpreting P&L statements, evaluating unit economics, and making decisions based on data-driven insights.
- Communicate with exceptional clarity and precision, capable of distilling complex issues into crisp narratives for senior leadership, while having the confidence to challenge even the most senior executives when necessary.
- Operate with a low ego, absolute discretion, and high stamina to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, showing obsessive commitment to follow-through and execution excellence.
- Hold a top-tier academic background from a recognized institution, demonstrating intellectual rigor and the ability to learn quickly in demanding situations.
- Be fluent in English, with French being a distinct advantage given the Paris location and local stakeholder interactions; a genuine affinity for gaming or consumer applications is also a significant plus.
