What you'll do
- Translate high-level business requirements for payments, fraud, support, finance, and CRM into detailed technical specifications and operational workflows.
- Monitor platform performance indicators and key metrics in real time, flagging risks early and proposing data-backed improvements to stakeholders.
- Lead automation initiatives by identifying bottlenecks, designing workflows, and developing Python scripts and Proofs-of-Concept to reduce manual effort.
- Serve as the primary technical owner for operational issues, coordinating cross-functional teams to implement scalable and durable solutions.
- Build and maintain internal tools that enhance team productivity, focusing on automating repetitive tasks and improving overall operational efficiency.
- Review and analyze operational data to generate actionable insights that drive measurable improvements in efficiency and user experience.
- Document systems, processes, and technical specifications in a clear, systematic, and accessible manner for current and future team members.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
- Utilize AI-assisted workflows and technical proficiency to interact with APIs and develop scripts that solve complex operational problems.
- Operate effectively as a generalist, moving between high-level strategic planning and hands-on implementation to resolve diverse challenges.
Requirements
- Hold a degree from a leading French engineering institution such as École Polytechnique, Mines, CentraleSupélec, or Ponts, or an equivalent establishment.
- Qualify for the V.I.E. program, with one to three years of professional experience demonstrating relevant operational or technical background.
- Exhibit technical proficiency in Python, including the ability to write scripts, develop internal tools, and interact with APIs.
- Demonstrate the capability to operate effectively as a generalist, balancing strategic oversight with detailed implementation responsibilities.
- Show a high level of proactivity and a strong sense of accountability, thriving in ambiguous settings by independently identifying issues and driving solutions.
- Communicate fluently in English, as it is the working language, while possessing knowledge of French as a distinct advantage in collaborative environments.
- Apply a structured problem-solving approach, coupled with meticulous attention to detail in all operational and technical tasks.
- Bring prior experience in a US tech company or a French tech scale-up, recognized as a significant asset for understanding fast-paced environments.
