We are seeking a Game Developer to join the Blitz team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and expanding this real-money gaming platform. The position involves creating games specifically for the Blitz ecosystem and contributing to feature enhancements. The role requires writing reliable code capable of supporting a large-scale audience. The developer will analyze game mechanics and iterate based on user feedback and publishing requirements.
Responsibilities for this position include designing core gameplay loops for new Blitz titles. The developer will map player journeys across mobile sessions to optimize engagement. They will build gameplay systems that remain stable under heavy daily usage involving millions of interactions. Existing features will be refined using performance data and player feedback regarding enjoyment. The role requires monitoring competitor releases to identify mechanics that could improve Voodoo's catalog. Collaboration with artists and writers is necessary to ensure that visual elements align with game rules. Coordination with analytics teams is essential for validating concepts through experiments. The developer will adapt prototypes rapidly following internal reviews to meet publishing schedules. Maintaining technical documentation is also part of the role to clarify complex interactions for teammates.
To qualify, you must have direct experience developing games for mobile devices on the Blitz platform. A professional history of at least three years with Unity is required. You should understand what drives engagement in mobile play. The ideal candidate works effectively within a team, provides constructive input, and remains open to feedback. Attention to detail is critical, particularly regarding factors that affect player retention and session duration. Professional written and verbal communication skills in English are necessary for all interactions.
Candidates with experience in games similar to Mob Control or Block Jam are preferred. Familiarity with tools such as SideCare, Swile, or Gymlib is considered a benefit.
