What you'll do
Prepare treatment rooms and organize all necessary instruments to ensure efficient and safe clinical procedures.
Assist the orthodontist during complex clinical procedures, maintaining focus on detail and anticipating the needs of the provider.
Take digital radiographs, capture clinical photographs, and create digital impressions or scans with precision and patient comfort in mind.
Support bonding and debonding procedures by handling materials and ensuring the clinical field remains sterile and organized.
Perform wire changes and bracket placement, adjusting appliances as directed by the orthodontist to maintain treatment progress.
Deliver clear and professional oral hygiene and appliance care instructions to patients and their families to support home care success.
Sterilize instruments and uphold OSHA and infection control standards rigorously to protect patients and team members.
Monitor and ensure operatories are fully stocked, functional, and prepared for each appointment to prevent delays.
Collaborate with the front office and clinical teams to keep the schedule running smoothly and address any logistical needs promptly.
Create a welcoming, positive experience for every patient and family by demonstrating empathy and excellent interpersonal skills.
Utilize strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, imaging, and procedural support.
Work cooperatively within a team environment, showing flexibility and responsiveness to changing clinical priorities.

Requirements
Orthodontic experience is required for this position.
Dental Assistant certification is preferred but not mandatory for consideration.
