What you'll do
- Identify and engage potential partners within your designated territory, establishing robust, revenue-generating relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders, including government officials and business leaders. You will be responsible for crafting and executing sales strategies aimed at improving transit solutions for communities in your area.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to understand the unique purchasing dynamics of your region, employing research and analytical skills to develop compelling, data-driven business cases that highlight the advantages of our platform across various sectors.
- Act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, assisting them in formulating regional transit strategies and identifying potential funding sources within their markets.
- Represent Via by leading local marketing initiatives, participating in industry conferences, and consistently providing thought leadership in the mobility sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and customer needs, fostering a unified approach to client engagement.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value of Via's solutions to potential clients.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, utilizing CRM tools to track progress and ensure accountability in meeting sales targets.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in client-facing roles, demonstrating a successful track record in Sales, Business Development, Consulting, or similar fields.
- Strong ability to educate and collaborate, comfortable with a consultative sales approach and skilled at leveraging data to create compelling narratives.
- Excellent research capabilities, with a knack for addressing complex challenges and adapting to new environments swiftly.
- Superior communication skills, capable of engaging clients through impactful presentations, proposals, and discussions that resonate with their needs.
- Strong commercial awareness and sound judgment, knowing when to advocate for a deal and when to exercise caution.
- Self-driven and dependable, thriving in dynamic environments and embracing challenges with a mindset geared towards growth.
- A team player who contributes meaningfully while also mentoring colleagues, understanding that collective success is paramount.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $145,000-$160,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Total compensation includes variable pay and equity options.
